what. a movie to make sense of purpose

why. What is our purpose in life? Are we trapped in a vicious circle of repeating the same mistakes all over again? Repeating history, behind bars, everlastingly shaped? A circle that keeps on turning, on and on and on and on and on and on.....

how. I wanted to communicate my story, therefore I chose video animation as a medium. It meant a lot to me to make this movie, because I had been struggling with nihilism and belief. Through making and painting I could make complex concepts clear for myself and was able to accept them. An individual cannot function well without a certain perception on reality. To believe in nothing keeps you from living because why would you even want to live when you know that everything we value only exists in our heads? Knowing that value is an assumed concept, something that floats in the air?
